Diego Rey

Diego Rey focuses his practice on real estate, corporate, and commercial law, representing clients in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing of commercial real estate.
A member of the firm’s real estate group, Diego works on purchase and sale agreements, and lease agreements, and conducts due diligence on title, surveys, zoning, and existing leases.
During law school, Diego externed with Bell Textron Inc.’s legal department through SMU Dedman School of Law’s Corporate Counsel Externship Program, working on commercial contracts and compliance matters and gaining valuable insight into how in-house legal teams balance legal and business considerations of complex transactions.
