Mario is a transactional attorney whose practice focuses on commercial real estate, finance, and corporate transactions. He represents lenders, investors, and business owners in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing matters across a variety of asset classes.
Mario regularly advises clients on commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of industrial, office, retail, farm and ranch, and mixed-use properties. His experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, managing due diligence matters involving title, survey, and zoning, and coordinating closings with lenders and title companies.
Mario has experience representing institutional and private lenders in secured loan transactions, including originations, modifications, and refinancings, as well as drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security agreements, and related collateral documentation.
Mario also advises clients on corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and asset sales, entity formation, ownership transfers, and corporate governance issues.
Prior to private practice, Mario worked with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, where he advised on the review and analysis of international petitions and related matters. He is fluent in Spanish and represents domestic and international clients.
